Frequently Asked Questions
Everything B2B buyers need to know before ordering.
Products & Specifications
What models does Aqua Lux Pro offer?
Aqua Lux Pro offers two models:
- AP SWIM SPA-S (square) — 2200 x 2200 x 1000 mm
- AP SWIM SPA-C (round) — diameter 2200 x 1000 mm
Both models are available in 304 or 316 marine-grade stainless steel. See full specifications on the Products page.
What is the difference between the square and round swim spa?
The square (SPA-S) has a symmetrical footprint ideal for structured deck layouts, with a transparent front panel facing one direction — suited to built-in or semi-recessed installations. The round (SPA-C) features 360-degree transparent panoramic panels designed for freestanding installations where visibility matters from every angle.
Both models share the same internal systems, materials, and performance. The choice is primarily about installation context and aesthetic preference.
What is the net weight and gross weight of each model?
- AP SWIM SPA-S (square): 600 kg net / 630 kg gross
- AP SWIM SPA-C (round): 500 kg net / 530 kg gross
When filled with water, total load is approximately 2,500 kg. This is the figure your structural engineer or contractor should use when designing the foundation.
What systems are included in every unit?
Every Aqua Lux Pro swim spa ships as a complete, self-contained unit with the following systems integrated:
- Water pump circulation system
- Low-float filter barrel
- Ozone + UV disinfection
- LED underwater lighting
- Dual massage pumps (x2)
- AP professional spa piping
- Heat pump constant temperature system
- Control panel with mobile app control
No additional subsystems need to be sourced separately. Everything arrives ready for connection to your prepared electrical and water supply.
What is the HS code?
The HS Code is 9506.99.9000, classified as swimming pools and paddling pools. This code is printed on all Aqua Lux Pro commercial invoices and packing lists for customs clearance.
Material & Quality
What is the difference between 304 and 316 stainless steel?
Both are marine-grade stainless steels, the key difference is corrosion resistance in chloride-rich environments:
- 304 (18% Cr, 8% Ni): Standard choice for inland properties, freshwater pools, and normal atmospheric conditions. Excellent durability for the vast majority of installations.
- 316 (16% Cr, 10% Ni, 2-3% Mo): Adds molybdenum for superior chloride and saltwater corrosion resistance. Recommended for beachfront resorts, saltwater pools, or properties within 5 km of the ocean.
For a detailed technical comparison, see 304 vs 316 Stainless Steel for Swim Spas.
Can I upgrade from 304 to 316 later?
No. The stainless steel grade is integral to the frame and inner lining — it cannot be retrofitted after manufacturing. You must select the grade at the time of order. The 316 upgrade adds approximately 15-20% to the unit cost.
If you are unsure which grade your project requires, contact us with your property location and we will advise.
What type of acrylic is used?
We use premium cast acrylic panels sourced from a leading Japanese supplier. These panels carry a 30-year characteristic guarantee against yellowing, cracking, and structural degradation under normal use. Cast acrylic is chosen over extruded acrylic for its superior optical clarity, impact resistance, and long-term durability.
What is the exterior finish?
Each swim spa exterior consists of three layers:
- EVA comfort mats on the top deck surface
- Wood-plastic composite skirting around the perimeter
- 304 stainless steel panels on visible surfaces
The wood-plastic composite is weather-resistant, low-maintenance, and color-matched to complement the stainless steel and acrylic aesthetic.
Pricing & Payment
How much does a swim spa cost?
All prices are EXW Huizhou, Guangdong, China (Ex Works):
| Model | 304 Grade | 316 Grade |
|---|---|---|
| AP SWIM SPA-C (round) | USD 10,000 | USD 12,000 |
| AP SWIM SPA-S (square) | USD 13,000 | USD 15,000 |
Wooden crate packing: USD 220 per unit extra. Freight, insurance, duties, and customs clearance are not included — these are the buyer's responsibility under EXW terms.
What does EXW Huizhou mean?
EXW (Ex Works) Huizhou is an Incoterms 2020 rule. The price covers the swim spa ready for collection at our manufacturing facility in Huizhou, Guangdong, China. From that point, the buyer handles and pays for all transportation: trucking to the port, ocean freight, cargo insurance, customs clearance in both countries, and final delivery to the installation site.
We are experienced at coordinating with international freight forwarders and can recommend trusted logistics partners if you do not have one.
What are the payment terms?
Standard payment terms:
- 50% T/T deposit upon order confirmation — starts the 45-day production timeline.
- 50% T/T balance before shipment — after QC photos and inspection report are sent to you.
For orders above USD 50,000, Letter of Credit (L/C) at sight is available. Contact us if your organization requires different payment arrangements — we are open to discussion for qualified buyers.
Are volume discounts available?
Yes. Volume discounts apply for orders of 5 or more units. The discount scales with quantity and model mix. For a formal quotation with volume pricing, contact us with your projected order quantity and destination.
What is the minimum order quantity?
The MOQ is 1 unit. There is no minimum volume requirement for first orders. We work with single-property buyers, small boutique hotels, and large resort chains alike.
Lead Time, Shipping & Logistics
What is the production lead time?

What is the shipping crate size?
The wooden shipping crate is approximately 2300 x 2440 x 1260 mm. One crate fits in a 20-foot container; two crates fit in a 40-foot container. The crate is ISPM 15 fumigated and certified for international shipping.
Can I use my own freight forwarder?
Yes. We coordinate with your nominated freight forwarder or can recommend one of our trusted logistics partners. We provide all necessary loading documentation, container booking support, and export paperwork regardless of which forwarder you choose.
Installation, Warranty & After-Sales
What foundation is required?
A level reinforced concrete pad rated for the filled weight of approximately 2,500 kg. The pad should extend at least 500 mm beyond the spa footprint on all sides for service access. A qualified structural engineer should assess foundations for elevated deck, rooftop, or above-ground installations. The installation manual includes detailed foundation specifications and load distribution data.
What are the electrical requirements?
Each unit requires a dedicated circuit with specifications provided in the installation manual. A qualified local electrician must handle the connection to ensure compliance with local electrical codes. The heat pump and dual massage pumps are the primary power consumers. Exact amperage depends on your local voltage (220V or 110V configuration).
What warranty does Aqua Lux Pro provide?
- 2-year warranty on all electrical components: water pump, heat pump, control panel, ozone/UV system, LED lighting, and massage pumps.
- 30-year characteristic guarantee on premium cast acrylic panels against yellowing and cracking under normal use.
The warranty does not cover damage from improper installation, chemical misuse, freezing without winterization, or unauthorized modification. Full warranty terms are included with the purchase agreement.
